Accessibility in tourism is a key aspect of sustainable development as it ensures that all people - regardless of physical, sensory or cognitive impairments - have equal access to tourism offerings. The aim is to remove physical, social and communication barriers in order to promote inclusive and equitable tourism.
The thematic block consists of an opening lecture, the presentation of a best practice and a subsequent panel discussion.
