Andreas Winkelhofer

Andreas Winkelhofer, born and raised in the wine region of Lower Austria, learned tourism and gastronomy from an early age in his family's inn and on the farm in the wine region. After graduating from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, he worked in international sports marketing at Austrian Advertising and Siemens Mobile, before leading the international market and media management at the Salzburg Tourism Society as Marketing Director for nine years.

Since 2015, he has been the CEO of Upper Austria Tourism. He is responsible for the strategic development and marketing of the Upper Austria tourism location, focusing on digital and sustainable transformation, brand management, internationalization, and the implementation management of the State Tourism Strategy 2030.
