STiAS 2025 as a Green Meeting
A sign for sustainable meetings

The aim is to organise the Sustainable Tourism in Austria Summit 2025 in accordance with the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings. We are thus setting an example for more sustainable meetings, for a sustainable world and a more conscious use of resources.

Our endeavours

  • The event will take place in the Festspielhaus Bregenz. Bregenz main railway station and a bus terminal are located right next to the venue. The nearest international airport is in Zurich and can be reached within 2 hours by public transport.

  • We recommend travelling to Bregenz train station by public transport. From there it is 7 minutes on foot to the location. If you would like to combine a short walk along the shores of Lake Constance with your journey, you can also get off at the "Bregenz Hafen" stop and walk along the lakeside promenade along the lakeside promenade to the Festspielhaus within 15 minutes.

  • With the Route planner from VMOBIL you can plan your public journey quickly and easily.

  • For a barrier-free journey, the ÖBB Mobility Service Centre can be contacted.

  • Spontaneous carpooling opportunities within Vorarlberg can be organised via the Vlow app app. Planned journeys are shared there and free seats are easily offered.

  • Caruso Carsharing offers flexible mobility in Vorarlberg. With 29 Caruso vehicles distributed throughout the region, public transport and cycle paths can be conveniently combined.

  • The signposted cycle path network in Vorarlberg is almost 300 kilometres long. Those travelling within Vorarlberg can use the Cycle paths and travel by bike.

  • During the event, particular attention is paid to avoiding and separating waste. The reduction of unnecessary packaging contributes significantly to waste avoidance. Waste separation bins with a sorting system will be available on site.

  • Katrin Erben is available to all participants and the public before, during (on site) and after the event as a contact person for enquiries.
